Múirne is a passionate Physiotherapist who graduated from Trinity College Dublin with an honours degree in 2024. Originally from Ireland, she has gained extensive clinical experience in both acute hospital settings and private practice. Múirne is currently registered with CORU and the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
Her clinical background is diverse, having completed core rotations at Tallaght University Hospital in Dublin. During this time, she worked across various specialties, including Medical Respiratory, Orthopaedics, and Neurology/Age-Related Rehabilitation. Múirne is also ICU trained and has provided on-call cover for critically ill patients, developing high-level clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
In addition to her hospital work, Múirne has experience in private practice, where she managed acute and chronic MSK conditions using patient-specific exercise prescription, manual therapy, and shockwave therapy. She is also a certified APPI Matwork Pilates instructor (Levels 1, 2, and 3) and enjoys tailoring classes for one-to-one clients or groups, specifically for those recovering from injury or surgery.
Múirne is a firm believer in continuous learning and has completed further training in foot and ankle strength and conditioning, as well as tracheostomy care. She takes an empathetic, patient-centered approach to rehabilitation, focusing on building strong rapport to help her patients exceed their baseline functional goals..
Outside of the clinic, Múirne is a motivated athlete who has completed two Dublin Marathons. She also has a background in rowing, having served as a coxswain for the Dublin University Ladies Boat Club. When she isn’t running or teaching Pilates, she might be found using her creative side—she once built her own online business selling handmade jewelry.
