Her professional journey encompasses a diverse range of experiences within the National Health Service in Scotland, where she has demonstrated expertise across multiple specialties, including musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, community, acute respiratory, and neurological rehabilitation.
In addition to her formal physiotherapy qualifications, Maria has a diploma in sports massage and holds a certification in kinesiology taping.
A staunch advocate for person-centered and holistic care, Maria is committed to evidence-based practice. Her primary passion lies in guiding individuals through rehabilitation programs, utilizing exercise therapy to get clients back to doing the things they love.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Maria loves everything outdoors; soaking up any ray of sunshine she can get. She loves tramping, paddleboarding, wild swimming and yoga/pilates.
