New to pilates?

If you’re seeing us for the first time all the different class types can be a bit confusing, but don’t worry it’s actually pretty straightforward. Here’s how it usually works:

  1. When you first see us, we’ll book you in for an initial assessment with one of our physiotherapists to get a clear idea of what your strengths and weaknesses are and set some goals. These are usually half-an-hour long, but if yours is a complex case we might stretch it out to 40 minutes.
  2. Following that we like to book in a block of three one-on-one ‘Fundamentals’ sessions. We find that giving our clients lots of personal attention at the start of their pilates journey helps them develop great technique and avoid bad habits.
  3. After that most people jump across to ‘Studio Sessions’ or other programmes, which are a bit more social – and a smidge cheaper too.

We’ve said “usually” a lot here, that’s because everyone’s a bit different and we pride ourselves on tailoring our programmes to suit. Whatever your goals and abilities are, we can develop a great pilates programme for you.
